One recent example of their dedication to quality was a brewery flooring project, for which their team meticulously followed our manufacturer's recommendations to prepare the concrete substrate. While proper substrate preparation is critical to the long-term performance of any resinous flooring system, the Innovative Floor Concepts team ensured that the concrete was profiled to the correct Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) and that terminations and drains were addressed correctly.
These key aspects can often be overlooked by novice installers, but are essential for a seamless, high-performance installation. IFC’s meticulous efforts ensured a textbook-quality finish and contributed to the flooring system's long-term durability and effectiveness.
For this brewery project, Innovative Floor Concepts installed a BioCem MonoFloor ¼” finished slurry in a bold yellow color, complemented by a BioCem Urethane Cement Topcoat. This advanced system was selected for its superior chemical resistance and its ability to withstand heavy thermal shock, making it ideal for the demanding environment of a brewery.
