The Mille Lacs Indoor Cannabis Growing Facility, located in Onamia, MN, is over 50,000 square feet and produces over 1,600 pounds of flowers per month. It was designed using the latest in indoor cultivation and extraction technology and cost approximately $20 million to complete. The project features 24 individual grow rooms accompanied by extraction and finished good processing areas.
The Solution:
The flooring system incorporated a high-performance Vapor Barrier Primer to address the relatively new concrete's high pH. This was coated with pre-pigmented Resinwerks BioCure 1100 100% solids intermediate epoxy. The system was finished using Resinwerks HDC 100™ hi-wear urethane. The topcoat was specially fortified with silver-ion anti-microbial pigments to help inhibit the bacteria growth.
